Sponsor the 40th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration
January 18, 2021 @ 9:00AM — 7:00PM Eastern Time (US & Canada)
A virtual teach-in and call to action honoring Dr. King's memory.
“The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.” -Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
We are looking for businesses, organizations, and individuals that would like to sponsor this event. Funds will go to equitably paying speakers and musicians for their time and to seed a new fund to provide paid internships for Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and other people of color at the Maine State House.
Join us for a Virtual Teach-In and Call to Action this Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day presented in association with the NAACP in Maine and the MLK Day Steering Committee. Join us to learn, discuss, challenge, and celebrate, and most importantly, to take action.
We anticipate this event to reach over 750 people who care deeply about justice and equity in our state. As a sponsor, your name and logo will be included on the slides in every session, on the event website, and in marketing communications.
Please consider becoming a sponsor of the 40th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Observance.
